*Joelle Abramowitz is a New Jersey native who made her way to Ann Arbor in 2016 via Washington DC, Brussels, Hong Kong, Chicago, and Seattle. She is a PhD economist and works at the University of Michigan’s Institute for Social Research. Joelle has held a number of roles in the Jewish communities where she has lived and has written for several Jewish online outlets. She is currently co-chair of Limmud Michigan, a board member of the Jewish Young Professionals of Ann Arbor, on the leadership team of jUnion: The Michigan Graduate Student Union, and an active Moishe House Without Walls host.

Jessica ‘Decky’ Alexander is a professor of applied theatre and the Director of Academic Engagement Programs under Engage @ EMU (Eastern Michigan University), where she oversees an array of programs dedicated to cultivating University and community collaboration. Both as both a performer and as a faculty member, Decky uses the medium of theatre and performance to give voice to underheard voices and foster community dialogue. Decky also serves as a faculty associate for EMU's Center for Jewish Studies.

Steve Aronson's early-formative years growing up in Montreal were occupied with youth programming (Ramah, USY) in a traditional (masorti) Jewish environment - in which he was active locally and internationally. After living in Israel and Montreal, he and his wife, Levana, settled in Ann Arbor where they tracked a path of engagement in leadership roles in what was for them the new experience of a relatively small community - in their children’s Hebrew Day School and their synagogue. He found himself in his first Federation Board position soon after. Now as President, his hope is to focus on cross-generational continuity and on synergy across the multiple elements, agencies, and streams of our community.

*Marla Chinsky is from Richmond, VA and has lived in Ann Arbor for three years with her husband, Josh, and their 1 year old baby girl, Evelyn. Marla works in business planning and analysis at Deloitte and also volunteers as an advisor for her sorority’s University of Michigan chapter. She has been involved in Federation activities her whole life and looks forward to joining the board here in Ann Arbor to continue the legacy of building community through tzedakah and tikkun olam.

Babette Levy Daskin grew up in St. Louis, Missouri and has lived in Ann Arbor since 2010, moving here with her husband, Mark Daskin. Babette worked in administrative and marketing roles in the healthcare sector during her career. Prior to arriving in Ann Arbor, Babette lived in the Highland Park, Illinois where she and Mark raised their two daughters who are now grown. In Chicago, she served on the Jewish Child & Family Services Board (now JCFS Chicago) which is an agency of the Jewish United Fund of Metropolitan Chicago. Babette also lived in Israel for two years of her life and is devoted to the State. In addition to her current role as Campaign Co-Chair for the Jewish Federation of Greater Ann Arbor, she is a member of Beth Israel Congregation and serves as Donor Co-Chair of the Ann Arbor Chapter of ORT America.

Hanna Goodstein moved with her husband Peter from Flint to Ann Arbor nine years ago. She holds an MPA degree from U of M - Flint. She currently serves on the Ann Arbor Jewish Federation’s Allocation Committee and the Board. She also volunteers for Ann Arbor Chapter of ORT.

*Dalia Naamani-Goldman and her husband moved to Ann Arbor for graduate school and training, and 6 years later they have never left.  Dalia previously served on rabbinic search and Jewish Federation committees in Baltimore and Ann Arbor.  Dalia works in the chemical industry.  In her spare time, she enjoys exploring town on foot with her husband and young daughter.

Randy Milgrom grew up in Oak Park, Michigan, attended U-M as an undergraduate, received a law degree at UCLA, and practiced law in Los Angeles for a decade before returning with his wife, Patti, and his son, Sam, to Ann Arbor, where he has since been making his living as a writer. Randy served on the board of the JCS, where his son attended classes, and has more recently served as a member of the Federation’s Impact Fund Committee, on its Allocations Committee, and as Chair of its Strategic Communications Committee as a member of its Board of Directors.

*Murray Rebner is a diagnostic radiologist who works at Beaumont Health in Royal Oak. He has lived in Ann Arbor since 1981 when he trained at U of M. Murray married his lovely wife Sue in 1985 and they have two adult children, Rachel and Max, who graduated from the Hebrew Day School. Max is recently married to his wife, Eryn Block. They also have a darling grandpuppy named Lyla!

Tamar Springer is a clinical psychologist in private practice in Ann Arbor. She is beginning her second year on the Federation board. Previously, she served on the board of Hebrew Day School, which her three sons attended. A member of TBE, Tamar also served on the TBE Youth Engagement Task Force. Her sons were all members of the AARTY board at TBE during their high school years.  Tamar, her husband Steve, and their sons are proud members of Ann Arbor's wonderful Jewish community.

Joshua Sukenic is a native of the Detroit suburbs. Josh, his wife, Marci, along with their three children moved to Ann Arbor from Chicago four years ago to both make a home in this vibrant, diverse community, and provide their children the opportunity to grow up around family. Josh leads business strategy for a global manufacturing firm located near Ann Arbor, and Marci works at the Jewish Federation of Greater Ann Arbor leading the Chai Mitzvah program. Both Josh and Marci are focused on developing Ann Arbor 3.0 - engaging and connecting with families across Ann Arbor to build our next generation of communal leadership. Josh, Marci and their three children, Brendan (10), Lily (7) and Jackson (5) belong to both Congregation Beth Israel and Temple Beth Emeth and in their spare time they enjoy spending time with friends, playing or watching sports and taking family adventures.

Laura Udell is originally from Toledo, Ohio and moved to Ann Arbor for work five years ago. She manages key brand customer accounts in SE Michigan for Marathon Petroleum. *Liz Wierba is a clinical psychologist and lecturer at UM with a private practice in Ann Arbor. She has previously served as a board member for JCC (ECC Steering Committee) and HDS (Recruitment). Liz and her husband have two sons, and their family are members of TBE. As the child of Eastern-European immigrants to Canada, she appreciates the importance of Jewish institutions in integrating and supporting her family and helping develop her Jewish identity.

Donny Wohl moved to Ann Arbor three years ago with his wife Sara and two children Maya and Jake. Donny is a financial advisor and founder of the Jennings Wohl group at Merrill Lynch, and has offices in Ann Arbor and Farmington Hills. Donny is on the board of the Michigan Jewish Sports Hall of Fame and a recent 2016 inductee. Donny enjoys playing golf, tennis and basketball in his spare time.
