Dr. Michael Berenbaum played a leading role in the creation of the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum (USHMM) and served until 1993 as the museum’s Project Director. He was Director of the museum’s Holocaust Research Institute from 1993-1997, and then served for two years as President and CEO of the Survivors of the Shoah Visual History Foundation. He is currently Director of the Sigi Ziering Institute:Exploring the Ethical and Religious Implications of the Holocaust.
