Beth Israel's celebration of Shavuot begins with Maariv at 9:00 p.m. and is followed by study sessions taught by congregants Deborah Ball and Carey Wexler Sherman. Rav Nadav will also be teaching sources relating to Richard Elliot Friedman's recent book entitled The Exodus: How it Happened and Why it Matters. Afterwards everyone is welcome to enjoy a traditional cheesecake oneg.
